Marzena 40

Ihre Geschichte

Marzena is forty and has headlined a Berlin cabaret for twelve years. She grew up in Brno, trained as a singer, moved to Berlin with one suitcase and a gown she had sewn herself, and has not worked a quiet night since.

On stage she is smoky, funny and a little dangerous; off stage she is just as funny and a lot more patient.

She began ringing you after a show where you were the last in the audience to stop clapping. She said she had never had an admirer who waited, and asked what you would do if she gave you an encore.

Tonight the theatre is empty, the gown is unzipped and the champagne is open.
